Plano Independent School District
Plano ISD’s Plano Attendance Review Board is part of the school district’s multi-tiered truancy prevention program. This board listens to individual attendance situations to identify the causes of a student’s repeated school absences, and to determine what types of support that student needs. The board helps reengage students and families, improve graduation rates and increase attendance rates. The board identifies students who may benefit from one-on-one mentoring, and refers them to the Top Achievers Foundation mentorship program.
Plano North Metroplex (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated
The Plano North Metroplex (TX) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is a service organization that partners with Top Achievers Foundation to promote the academic, athletic and leadership development of female students. Members of The Links lead innovative programs that teach adolescent girls to make better choices and lead healthier lifestyles, increase their interest in STEM careers, and expose them to enriching experiences through participation in the arts.
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. League Plano/Richardson
Guide Right is the national service program of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Guide Right aims to create the next generation of leaders by helping young men successfully prepare for college and careers while also developing strong moral character. Leaders in the Guide Right program help facilitate Top Achievers workshops for male students on the topics of leadership, financial literacy and college readiness.
Hendrick Scholarship Foundation
Hendrick Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit that provides Plano ISD graduates who have overcome significant adversity with scholarships and support services to promote success in life through education. Selected students may include those who are first-generation college students, are economically disadvantaged or are racial minorities. For many years Top Achievers Foundation has seen its own students receive Hendrick Scholarship Foundation scholarships.
New Village Institute Blairsville helps adults realize their potential through education and life skills so that they can secure a well-paying, meaningful career in the fields of automotive and diesel technology. Students attend a campus in Pennsylvania and are able to graduate in six months. NVI Blairsville has partnered with Top Achievers to recruit high school graduates who are ready to go directly into the workforce instead of a four-year university.
