PLANO, TEXAS – The City of Plano, led by Mayor John Muns, has awarded Lawrence Mann the Key to the City in recognition of his outstanding leadership, community impact, and commitment to serving youth and families across North Texas.

In a formal proclamation issued by the City of Plano during the Top Achievers 30th Anniversary Gala, May 1, 2026 was officially declared “Lawrence Mann Day,” recognizing his lasting contributions to education, mentorship, and community development through his leadership of Top Achievers and his broader commitment to expanding opportunities for student success. Mayor John Muns presented the honor in recognition of Mann’s continued efforts to uplift underserved students and build pathways to academic achievement, leadership development, and long-term success.

Cassie Lowe is the Chief Operating Officer of Top Achievers Foundation — the first person to hold this role in the organization's history. She brings over 15 years of experience in nonprofit development and leadership, with a deep focus on serving underserved youth and families. Cassie holds a Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, a Bachelor of Arts in Child Development, and is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. As COO, she works alongside Founder and Executive Director Lawrence Mann to scale program delivery, strengthen operational systems, and expand Top Achievers' reach across Plano and Collin County.
