Girls 3rd / 4th Grade Team
This team represents our entry-level age group at Top Achievers for competition.
At this level, we focus on basic skills such as passing, dribbling, shooting, and defense. We also emphasize teamwork, conditioning, general basketball knowledge, and game situations.
This team regularly competes in the Select division of the Plano Sports Authority (PSA) league and plans to play in competitive local tournaments in the future.
Our most recent results include placing as a runner-up in the Fall season of the 3rd/4th grade division of Plano PSA Select division.
This team typically practices on a weekday evening at Haggard Middle School Gym and Sunday nights at QD Academy in Plano, Texas.
The head coach of this team is Neybia Hernandez, and the assistant coach is Crystal Kemp.
This team is looking for committed girls who aspire to play high-level basketball. We also welcome newer girls who are just getting started but do not compete on the team.

Girls 5th / 6th Grade Red Team
This team represents our next level at Top Achievers for the 5th- and 6th-grade levels.
At this level, we focus on intermediate-level basketball skills, conditioning, basic plays, game knowledge, etc.
This team regularly practices and plays in local leagues. It is mainly a vehicle to prepare for middle school basketball. It does not compete in tournament play but in local area leagues and events.
This team typically practices on a weekday evening at Haggard Middle School Gym and Sunday nights at QD Academy in Plano, Texas.
The head coaches of this team are Aleiyah Brantley and Elizabeth George.
This team seeks committed girls who aspire to play on their middle school basketball teams.

Girls 5th / 6th Grade Black Team
This is our top competitive team at Top Achievers for this age division.
This team mainly focuses on intermediate to advanced-level game skills, conditioning, basketball knowledge, etc.
This team regularly competes in the Plano Sports Authority (PSA) Select division and local DFW-area competitive tournaments.
Recent results include winning various Select divisions of the Plano Sports Authority PSA leagues. This team also regularly places highly in local competitive DFW tournaments.
This team typically practices on weekday evenings at June Shelton High School Gym and on weekends at Prestonwood Christian Academy and QD Academy in Plano, Texas.
Lawrence Mann is the head coach of this team. Assistant coaches include Aleiyah Brantley and Maggie Robbins, an all-conference player at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.

Girls 7th / 8th Grade Team
This age group represents our middle school-level players at Top Achievers and is comprised of girls aspiring to play high school varsity-level basketball and beyond.
At this level, we mainly focus on intermediate to advanced level skills, conditioning, basketball knowledge, etc. Girls at this age level primarly play on their school teams and attend Top Achievers for additional skills realted training.
Situationally this age level also competes in local DFW-area leagues, She Hoops Showcase events, and local competitive tournaments.
Our players are frequently the top middle school athletes and are the primary leaders on their respective school basketball teams.
This team typically practices year round on a weekday evening at June Shelton School Gym, Prestonwood Christian Academy, and Sunday nights at QD Academy in Plano, Texas.
This team is looking for committed girls who aspire to play high-level basketball in high school and beyond as well as those who seek to play in competitive tournaments. Girls who just want to prepare for middle school are welcome to attend our general skills sessions as well.

Girls High School Team
This age group represents our top-level girls team at Top Achievers and is composed of players on JV and varsity high school teams and girls who aspire to play college basketball in the future.
At this level, we focus on more advanced-level skills, conditioning, basketball knowledge, etc.
In the past, this team has competed in national AAU events, won the Fab 48 Tournament in Las Vegas, and produced the core of a UIL Texas 6A state championship team in 2018.
Our girls are among the top high school athletes in the DFW area and are leaders on their respective basketball teams.
The head coach of this team is Kevin Burnett of June Shelton High School.
This team typically practices at various facilities year round, including Prestonwood Christian Academy and QD Academy.
