STEAM

Top Achievers’ No-Cost STEAM Program
The world is built by thinkers, dreamers, and creators and STEAM is where those futures begin. Our program invites students in grades 3–12 to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math in a way that’s hands-on, exciting, and full of real-world connections. Each month, students dive into workshops that spark curiosity, build confidence, and challenge them to think bigger. From coding and design challenges to creative problem-solving and innovation labs, every session is designed to show students that learning is not just about the classroom – it’s about shaping the future.
Why STEAM?
STEAM mentorship is about discovery. It’s about asking “why,” trying new ideas, and learning from mentors who are passionate about opening doors to tomorrow’s opportunities. Through group-based mentorship, students see how science and creativity come together, how technology can solve problems, and how their own ideas can make an impact. It’s a safe, motivating space where students learn to embrace challenges, stay curious, and gain the skills to succeed in school, college, and beyond.
What Makes Us Unique?
At Top Achievers, we don’t just teach STEAM we bring it to life. Our program is led by Anthony Samuel, an actual scientist, along with our dedicated team of committed volunteers who believe in the potential of every student. Instead of lectures, students experience interactive projects, team challenges, and workshops that make learning exciting and practical. Our group model encourages collaboration, creativity, and peer-to-peer learning, helping students discover strengths they never knew they had. Parents can trust that every workshop builds not only technical knowledge, but also leadership, problem-solving, and confidence.
Free Math Tutoring Program
Every Saturday, Top Achievers offers free math tutoring workshops for students in grades 6–12 to help build confidence, strengthen skills, and prepare for future success. With recent STAAR results showing that less than half of Texas students (only about 43%) are meeting grade-level expectations in math, these workshops provide vital support for students at all grade levels. Led in partnership with Intellichoice, UTD professors, and students, each session creates a welcoming space where questions are encouraged, growth is celebrated, and students gain the tools they need to thrive. Sign up now to give your student the support that makes a lasting difference.
